08/09 Tottenham Home & Away + Pavlyuchenko 9

Now that Tottenham are back to winning ways, what better time to highlight the jersey of saturday's dramatic game winner in the 2-1 victory over Liverpool. Roman Pavlyuchemko pounced on a Darren Bent pass in the last minute of full time at White Hart Lane and brought to an end the last unbeaten record in the Premier League.

Signing for Tottenham for 14 million pounds this past August from Spartak Moscow, Roman Pavlyuchenko inherited the number 9 jersey from Dimitar Berbatov after the Bulgarian's acrimonious move to Manchester United. Playing for Tottenham at centre forward as well as the Russian national team where he has earned 24 caps, there is a bright future ahead for the 26 year-old Pavlyuchenko, especially now the gloom has been lifted from the Seven Sisters Road in North London.

This years Tottenham Hotspur jersey is made by Puma, who took over from Kappa in 2006, and features an embroidered club badge. The sponsor is Mansion.com - the internet casino group based in Gibraltar.

Player name customization is performed using licensed player size navy lextra materials exactly as worn by the players. FA Premier League player sized sleeve badges are also available for and additional cost of 12.00 dollars.

And just so you don't think we're a bunch of opportunists here at The Onion Bag, you can still purchase the first Pavlyuchenko we had on offer here:

About This Blog

A running joke at the shop is that Santa Claus visits us every day, except he wears a brown uniform with the letters UPS embroidered on his cap. We constantly receive deliveries from our wide range of suppliers, and at least once a week something comes through the door that gets us as excited as an 8 year old kid on Dec. 25th. So we've set this space up as a way to share those unique items with you. They range from obscure club jerseys, to collectors items and memorabilia. There are all sorts of interesting things coming through the door at The OnionBag.
